BACKSHELLS & ADAPTORS
Backshells / Adaptors are an elctro-mechanical device that fastens to the rear of a connector. Designed to provide shielding/screening, environmental sealing protection and strain relief for cable terminations.
Engineered to help resist corrosion and fit a selected range of connectors, Backshells and Adapters assist in protecting connections from mechanical wear, harsh environmental conditions, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), and provide strain relief to the cable bundle.
These are available with and without screen termination, providing reliable sealed and unsealed protection for both Circular and Rectangular connector systems.
